“At these centers, business owners can meet face-to-face with specialists to apply for disaster loans and access a wide range of resources to guide them through their recovery,” says Francisco Sánchez Jr., in the press release. The interest rates for these loans are 4% for small businesses and 3.625% for PNPs. Neither payments nor interest accrual occurs until one year from receival of the first loan disbursement, which is based on an applicant’s financial condition, the SBA says.
The filing deadline for physical property damage is March 10, while the deadline for economic injury applications is Oct. 8.
