Rayner announced the launch of its redesigned online premium IOL calculator, RayTrace. One of the first online IOL calculation tools, RayTrace has been used by surgeons globally since 2008 for the accuracy of its premium IOL (toric, multifocal and supplementary) calculations, the company said in a press release.
Rayner relayed that the newly-redesigned RayTrace version 4.0 reflects surgeon feedback with quicker and clearer calculations, access to the PEARL DGS formula, and a host of other new features, such as:
- The capability to calculate both eyes on one page
- The ability to access toric and non-toric results in one calculation
- Improved theatre view design
- Input post-operative refractive data
- The ability to calculate the new RayOne Galaxy spiral IOL
- Improved integration with Rayner’s PROMs platform, RayPRO
