Sightview has launched a new solution for ophthalmologists based on the company's ophthalmology electronic health record and practice management solution. The new platform maintains existing user workflows and includes enhanced patient at-a-glance functionality, automated insights to improve efficiency, and an enhanced technological foundation for future updates and integrations, the company said in a press release.
Specifically, Sightview said the platform's new look and feel standardizes colors and simplifies screen views, making critical information easier to see while also improving usability. The updated workflows also remove steps to better align with how providers deliver care. Enhanced patient-at-a-glance functionality provides physicians with instant clinical context through a clear, concise summary, history, trends in findings, laboratory results, and vitals from prior encounters. The Sightview solution also provides a single chart that follows the patient’s journey from technician to optometrist to ophthalmologist, with integrated features that create more robust end-to-end functionality, the company said in the press release.
