Ophthalmic compounding company OSRX introduced new medications and direct-to-patient post-op kits as part of its mission to “optimize medication management and eliminate post-surgical supply headaches,” the company announced in a press release. The new offerings are:

• Tropicamide 1% + Phenylephrine 2.5% in a 10 mL fill, in addition to the already available 2-mL size bottle. The larger size provides better value and helps practices reduce reorders, the company said in the press release. The new size is available for individual prescriptions and bulk orders.(Availability is pending in some states, OSRX noted.)
• Brimonidine 0.1% + Dorzolamide 2% in a larger 5 mL fill volume. It is available for direct-to-patient shipping or office stock.
• Direct-to-patient post-op kits that include Solar Shield sunglasses and polycarbonate eye shield and tape.
